Challenges

1) The asynchronous motor has been in use for a long time, with low efficiency, leading to serious wastage of electrical energy.

2) The requirements for the workshop environment are strict, the speed reducer has been in used for a long time, and the oil leakage causes pollution to the workshop environment;

3) The asynchronous motor operates with a high level of noise, causing serious noise pollution.

Implementation

This project is a permanent magnet motor for the stirring kettle of a pharmaceutical factory abroad. We provide a permanent magnet direct drive motor with the following parameters:

The original drive mode for this project was an asynchronous drive variable frequency start mode. We provide permanent magnet direct drive motor and pair with supporting base. The site was investigated before the implementation of the project, and the replacement base was designed according to the fixing hole position of the original reducer. The permanent magnet motor is installed and put into service and operating smoothly.

Application effect

In this renovation project, the asynchronous motor + deceleration system is replaced, and the overall replacement is simple without the installation work such as opening construction. Moreover, after using the permanent magnet motor, the reduction mechanism was eliminated, both efficiency and power factor were improved, enhancing the workshop's application environment. After actual testing, using the permanent magnet motor resulted in an energy saving rate of more than 20% compared to the asynchronous motor.
