A sewage treatment plant in Wenshang County
Challenges
Roots blowers suffer from high failure rates, friction, and noise;
Started directly at mains frequency, non-adjustable speed, and high power consumption.
The use of AC asynchronous motors leads to rotor copper consumption, iron consumption, and low efficiency and power factor.
Implementation
A new type of blower is gradually being used to replace the original roots blowers, with three using magnetic levitation blowers (which have been in operation for many years) and the remaining one being replaced with an air levitation blower.
We select BC-ST125-08 air levitation blower according to the required air volume. The operating power is 125 Hp, the gas supply is 70m3/min, and the pressure is 80kPa.
During the replacement process of equipment, installation is quick, commissioning is easy and accessible through main line openings, piping installation, equipment positioning, and power-on commissioning.
The actual power saving is more than 35% compared with the original roots blower.
